Cool Roofs
A cool roof is a light colored roof coating which reflects the majority of the sun’s harmful UV rays and heat. Uncoated roofs can absorb as much as 83% of the sun’s heat and rise up to 160 degrees, while a reflective coating reduces temperatures by more than 50 degrees.
